Where you should go for your next holiday T4 W6
Where you should go for your next holiday
Intro
Ni hao, so, you might be wondering where you can have another exciting, life remembering holiday, well I suggest you go to Beijing in China, why? Because there are lots of exciting places to go to and scrumptious food to taste. You will be amazed once you get there because you don’t even know what to do first. In the next few paragraphs you are going to read many spectacular reasons on why and other data you need to know. That is why you should go to the amazing Beijing.
Information for the flight
Now I am going to you about the flight, if you are taller than 1.20 metre than the price would be $436 at the airport in christchurch. You might be annoyed by the expensive prices so you might thinking ¨oh I think Iḿ going to stay where I am¨, well the price is expensive to go to Beijing because well, 1st , you need to take two flights, and 2nd this holiday could be so awesome that your grandson could tell your great great grandson, and yes that is how life remembering Beijing is. The flight is at least 13 hours long but you won’t be bored the plan has a little TV.
Water cube
I have not been to Beijing National Stadium, Temple of Heaven, Beijing Olympic park, Ancient North WaterTown, National Museum of China, Beihai park, Chairman Mao Zedong Memorial, or Zhongnanhai so I think you should go and have a look and see which place is better, Water Cube is a place shaped like a cube, and you can go swimming there in mind blowing slippery twisting slides. In the daytime the Water Cube is blank white, but at nighttime oh boy it’s colourful It’s like Hanmer Springs, the spa’s are as bubbly as a ton of bath bombs in a bathtub. Well that's all I can tell you. ( I’ll have pictures down below)

The Beijing Zoo
The Beijing Zoo is a Zoo and I guess you already knew that, but the stunning Beijing Zoo has about every animal you can think of. My favorite animal is a dolphin and well I saw a dolphin. I saw the dolphin in a aquarium, I kept on seeing sharks that were eating fish everywhere in that aquarium, and that zoo is gigantic. If you have a favourite animal I will be 98% sure that it is there.
Beijing Foods
Now I’m going to talk about food and if you're a food lover then I guess every time I’m going to say the word food you're going to start licking your lips. The Beijing restaurants are practically everywhere so you don’t have to worry about getting hungry. These tasty foods will keep you going for a while in fact as soon as you eat one you can’t resist for another, and yes that going to keep eating until well you about to explode but you won’t. My favourite food in Beijing is Peking Roast Duck, but I do not know what you would like out of these thousands of foods. Trust me you will feel like non stop eating these scrumptious dishes if you are crazy about food!
The END/Conclusion
So as you can see from the facts this place is loaded with fascinating places to go and delicious food to taste. So go pack you bag buy a ticket and board the plane to Beijing and have a epic time as you are having fun in the sun!

I might story T4 W1
I might story
On a wonderful Sunday I jumped out of bed and almost landed on my cat, Spinks luckily he zoomed to mum before I could land on him, I smacked my head on the door and I think I might have been riding a jetski and somehow I landed in a gigantic jail cell filled with water. The water slowly went down because I finally noticed a drane as big as a baby dolphin. As soon as the water vanished down the drane. I might have saw a viking leading a huge army come into the cell through the walls. I might have ran into the corner of the cell three quarters dead from fright. The leader of the viking army said “we are not here to scare you we are here to make your head stop hurting and when that happens you will be back to your own world is that ok with you?”“yes but I wish I do not have to leave this awesome jetski behind but I’m going home” as I replied bravely. “ alright, take this jetski keychain to remember us, oh and by the way there's a button that turns it in a real jetski, goodbye now” he said. I felt very weird for a few seconds after that I felt water or sweat gushing on my face. But what actually happened was that I was washing my face, and brushing my teeth.

Guy fawkes and Parihaka
Guy Fawkes and Parihaka
By Gloria
A few hundred years ago November in England a guy tried to blow up Parliament. Well Parihaka was once knights said that the maori people that they had to move somewhere else but the two leaders Te Whiti and Tohu tried to protest peacefully. The troops arrested the two leaders and many other men and they were jailed for 16 months in Dunedin.
People celebrate by putting fireworks off. A lot of little kids like sparklers and the ones you hold and it shoots in the sky. My favorite fireworks would be the ones you point to the sky and rainbow balls will fly out like a comet and explode. What do you think write it in the comment section
We should celebrate Guy Fawkes on the day when England‘s parliament was about to get blown up, I think the fireworks can help us to remember not to do bad things because you could get sent to jail a year or more. Sometimes if you protest peacefully you might be able to solve the problems.
Parihaka is a town established on the slopes of Taranaki by Te Whiti and Tohu. The leaders peacefully protest against land being stolen by government soldiers. There village was destroyed and the women and children were sent away.
I think New Zealand should celebrate Guy Fawkes and Parihaka because remember our mistakes by the past history. Peace not violent, stands up for weakness.

Time Capsule Story
Time capsule writing structure
I wonder what Christchurch will be like when the time capsule is opened and my writing is read?
I am writing this in October 2017. My name is Gloria and I am a 9 year old girl in the Year 2017 at Sockburn School.
I am the youngest child in my family. I have one brother. Actually I quite like my brother, even when he call me a baby . As well as people in our household we have one pet cat (well actually it's my brother's cat)… I help look after Spinks (the cat) by feeding it brushing it and all that.
You might be interested to know what sorts of things I enjoy doing.
I really enjoy reading Geronimo Stilton. I have reading this for 2 years. My fav colour is aqua.
Some other things I enjoy doing in my spare time at home are practicing erhu (a chinese instrument), watching Doraemon (a chinese cartoon) and talking with mum.
After school I go to OSCAR.
The best thing about this is they give you afternoon tea, and at 5:00 if there is enough food they will give us a snack.
By the time you read this I guess school will have changed a lot. At the moment we are in the old Sockburn School classrooms. They are made of wood and have a wooden deck all along the front. We have 92 students in our area which is called Kahikatea. This is for Year 4, 5 and 6 students. We only have 2 exercise books. One for maths and one for everything. Most of our work is done on Chromebooks which are a lot like laptops. I think having my own chromebook is easier because I can do my work at home. The thing I am best at at school is math because I have a friend in math called Lola and she is better that me so she has helped me a lot, specially on multiplication
I wonder what schools will look like in the future? Next year Sockburn School becomes Wigram Primary School and we will be moving to a brand new school with new buildings and new everything.
I hope at the new school we have awesome teachers (even though most teachers are amazing not trying to be offensive).
I guess that in the future, when the time capsule is opened schools will have like floating screens, flying scooters, whiteboards that are touchscreen and all that.
Maybe, instead of walking, scootering, biking driving to school in the family car kids will get to school by hoverboards, auto bike
Some of the jobs people might do in the future will be creating these things.
Ending
Maybe I will be there when the time capsule is opened and kids of the future will be able to ask me all about being a kid in 2017.

Create Developing New Knowledge- a famous busker- Bruce Springsteen T4 W1
Create Developing New Knowledge- a famous busker- Bruce Springsteen
!!!Facts!!!
- Bruce has fans in high places. Barack Obama has said that there are "a handful of people who enter into your lives through their music and tell the American people's story. Bruce Springsteen is one of those people." He's also said that he ran for President because he couldn't be Bruce Springsteen.
- Another fan was the late Joe Strummer. The Clash frontman was asked about the Boss for a TV documentary in mid-90s and he responded with a fax that said, among other things, "Bruce is great"¦if you don't agree with that, you're a pretentious Martian from Venus" and "The DJ puts on "˜Racing in the Streets' and life seems worth living again."
- Dr. Ruth Westheimer once visited Bruce backstage at a show. She told him she liked what he said in his songs about love and sex, but she wished he'd mention contraception once in a while.
- The late Warren Zevon was also Bruce's friend, fan and collaborator. When Zevon was diagnosed with mesothelioma, he refused any treatment he thought would incapacitate him and headed to the studio—with plenty of friends in tow—to record his final album, The Wind. Springsteen provided background vocals and electric guitar for two songs, one of which won the Grammy for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocal. Springsteen later appeared on a tribute album to Zevon, performing his song "My Ride's Here."
- Bruce had a bit of a hard time in school. When he was in third grade, a nun stuffed him into a garbage can under her desk, claiming that's "where he belonged." Years later, at Ocean County College, legend has it that his fellow students petitioned the administration to have him expelled.
- Of course, he had his fans, too. Some of the girls in his high school approached the administration with a petition demanding that Bruce's band at the time, the Castiles, be given more attention and respect.
- When the Springsteens were living in Freehold, New Jersey, their house was near a Nestle's factory. When the wind was just right, Bruce has said, he could smell chocolate all day long.
- The first song a young Bruce learned play on the guitar was the Beatles' "Twist and Shout."
- There really is an E Street. It runs northeast through the New Jersey shore town of Belmar. According to Springsteen lore, the band took its name from the street because original keyboard player David Sancious' mother lived there and allowed the band to rehearse in her house.
- The titular avenue of "Tenth Avenue Freeze Out" is also in Belmar. [Image courtesy of NJ.com (link).
- Tenth Avenue Freeze Out" was guitarist Steven Van Zandt's debut with the E Street Band. He came up with the idea for the horn intro and became the de facto arranger when he sang the line for the horn section.
- The working title of Darkness on the Edge of Town was American Madness, also the title of a 1932 Frank Capra movie. Early copies of the album were mistakenly released inside covers for Barbra Streisand's Songbird.
Hope You enjoyed
